My Mother raised me to be an honest and happy person. You will not hear me speak of my father for reasons that are not
worth mentioning. My Mother was the greatest teacher, I learned what I know from her example. The Golden Rule some people
may call it. Do Unto Others, etc. I love her for that. She was my best friend.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL. I went to Chicago Vocational High School and majored in Printing. Worked as a pressperson and
did typesetting for 40 years. In that span of time, I had an adoption center for dogs in my home and managed another
in Flossmoor, IL, breaking away from printing for a while. I am an animal advocate and I will not tolerate animal abuse. In
1982 my Mom and I moved to Florida where we lived for 22 years. She became ill in 1996 and I took care of her until it became
impossible to do it alone, so she went to a nursing home. In early 1998 I met a woman on the internet and we talked for several
months, we decided to get together, so she came to Florida from New Mexico in October of 1998, her name is Darla and we have
been together ever since. We brought my Mom home and we took care of her until her death in 2001. In 2004 Darla and I decided
to move to New Mexico, back to her home town of Portales. I love horses so we bought a home with over an acre. I had a horse
for just a little while. He was an older gentleman, you can see him and me in the picture below, I am the one without the
saddle!
I am a fan of trivia, any kind of trivia, but especially in the entertainment field. They have to be "old questions"
or I won't know the answer. I'm 73 years young, and enjoy life more everyday. I have a silly sense of humor and love
to just enjoy life to the fullest.
Well, now that I have bored you all to tears, I will apologize and think of something else to tell you another day.

Because of Spirit's 25 years, he needed special
food to keep him in the condtion he was in, it became difficult, financially to keep him. Sadly,
I had to sell him.
He went to a wonderful home, the couple that bought him
have 2 small children that love him. He was raised to have children on him and worked with special children and adults with
his former owner.
